The Peruvian footballer, who from 2020 will play in MLS, became the most expensive signing in the history of DC United

DC United, a club founded in 1994 in the city of Washington, made official the hiring of Peruvian midfielder Edison Flores for the next five years. Edison, 25, is a current member of the Peruvian National Team and has previously passed through the clubs: Villarreal (Spain), Universitario de Deportes (Peru), Aalborg (Denmark) and Morelia (Mexico).

‘Oreja’ has just finished a great season playing 21 games with Morelia and reaching the semifinal of the Mexican tournament. In addition, he scored 7 goals and gave 4 assists to be one of the most outstanding players in the red-and-yellow team.

Edison Flores thus becomes the fourth signing of 2020 for the team led Ben Olsen. Midfielder Yamil Asad (Argentina) and forwards Ola Kamara (Norway) and Erik Sorga (Estonia) also arrived.
